On Sunday the 24th of September the Casino Rugby Club held the end of year junior presentation in the main auditorium of the Casino RSM club.   Over two hundred and fifty players, families, supporters and sponsors gathered in the auditorium for the presentations.     The highlight of the evening was the awarding of the Pat Power Junior Player of the Year Award to under 16 player Josh DenElzen, the 2006 Achievement Award to Andrew Barnes and the Encouragement Award to Freya Russell. 

All Best and Fairest award winners were presented with a gift certificate for Kwong Sings which was generously sponsored by the Casino Crocs Golden Oldies. Each registered player was also presented with a training shirt.   

A big thank you must go out to all the sponsors of the Casino Bulls particularly Parker & Kissane solicitors, Mitchell Playford and Radburn Solicitors, Ramco Civil Products, Quayside Holden, Eric Box Mitsubishi, National Australia Bank, Oxford Hotel and the Casino RSM Club.   

Greg Lamond from Mitchell Playford and Radburn was also presented with a framed certificate of appreciation for his support of the Casino players that were involved with the under 14 Far North Coast Rep Team that won the Country Championships in May this year.  

The presentation concluded the 2006 Rugby Season for the Casino Junior bulls.

 However, next year the Casino Bulls will be taking the under 16 and under 17 teams for a Rugby tour of New Zealand.   All new and existing players who are interested in touring New Zealand in 2007 are encouraged to contact Greg DenElzen 0428673254.   There will be a number of fund raising activities throughout the off season and the club encourages all readers to support the players.    

Junior Registration will commence in February 2007 and will be advertised in the Express Examiner.
