MEMBERSHIP IS EASY

For those planning to join us for the first time just come along to the ground on Marston Ferry Road, Summertown. We start practice from 10.30 am - you will find that the coaches will already be there and will have everything set up for a full training session.

You do not need to pay anything for the first few Sundays until you decide whether you want to join or not. Most do and you can then pay on the official 'registration Sunday', which is normally the third Sunday of September.  We have had to review the membership fees for the new season in order to ensure we can provide up-to-date and safe equipment. It remains one of the best value memberships at just £30.00 for minis and £50.00 for juniors for the whole season.

We start off each season with some fun games and simple routines in order to get us back into the swing of rugby. As the season progresses, we work through the RFU recommended Continuum and train through the necessary skills to enable each age group to adapt to the new season of rugby. Each year introduces new skills and expands the game progressively and safely.

From October we introduce matches against other teams in the county as well as attending some Rugby Festivals throughout the season; this is a great opportunity to play teams from other counties.  Some of the older age groups will go on a 'Tour' for a long weekend.

Its really good fun. You will get to meet new friends and learn new skills. Youth rugby remains one of the fasted growing sports and is set to continue with the Rugby World Cup 2007 this season coming from France. We are currently working with London Wasps the top Guinness Premiership Rugby Club who play at Adams Park in High Wycombe. We are aiming to become a Community Partner Club which will give us fantastic opportunities to work alongside Wasps and enable us to secure discounts for match day tickets.
